St Patricks Day 2011 Co. Sligo

So whats on in Co. Sligo for St Patricks Day 2011????

• Sligo Town Parade - Parade starts at 12noon. The Sligo St. Patrick’s Day Pageant upholds the traditions of all great carnivals that revel in undermining, if just for one day, the boundaries of authority. Street jesters, face-painters, green revellers and masked impersonators join in a mệlée of Irish compatriots, from all over the world, who flock to the celebration.

• Tubbercurry - Parade begins at 12.30pm

• Gurteen - TBC

• Aclare - Parade starts at 4.30pm.

• Dromore West Parade - 3pm start

• Grange Parade - Parade starts at 2.00pm

• Charlestown/Bellaghy Parade - Parade starts at 12.30pm

• Enniscrone - Parade starts at 1pm

• Ballymote - Parade starts at 3.30. Entertainment afterwards at the Top of The Rock

• Ballinafad - 1pm

• Also Boyle at 3pm, Manorhamilton at 5pm and Bundoran at 3pm

• Also Check out So Sligo Food Festival - which takes place in Sligo between the 16th & 20th March 2011. Theres a huge amount of events on all weekend.
